Xiao Zhang Takes Down the 2026 KPC x LPT Series Event #6 Mystery Bounty Event

The KPC x LPT Series 2026 at LES A Casino in Jeju, South Korea, is delivering a punch to kick off 2026, with over KRW 2.01 billion guaranteed across 40+ events.

Event #6: Mystery Bounty exploded with 734 entries across four starting flights, creating a massive KRW 620 million prize pool (including bounties). After three intense days, China’s Xiao Zhang emerged victorious on January 6, securing the title, KRW 73,810,000 (~$53,000 USD), and a whopping KRW 28,800,000 in bounties.

2026 KPC Series Mystery Bounty final hand

Xiao Zhang, a rising Chinese talent from Jiangsu province, has quickly made waves in Asian poker. His prior highlight came in November 2025 at Jeju Poker Festival, where he won the Red Dragon Championship (KRW 2.5M buy-in, 1,108 entries) for ~$260K USD, his biggest cash to date and total live earnings now exceeding $500K. In this Mystery Bounty, Zhang dominated the final table, which skewed heavily Chinese with seven of nine players from the mainland or Hong Kong.

With the Main Even well underway, we should be seeing plenty more action from Jeju over the coming days.
