We have some dating news from the poker world for you.
It’s actually quite rare to see two well known poker players being in a relationship. It’s mostly because the global player pool is disproportionately more male than female.
We have Alex Foxen and Kristen Bicknell, or Igor Kurganov and Liv Boeree forming poker power couples. Now, however, we have two more players to officially “ship”.
Marle Cordeiro Talks About Dating Benjamin “Spraggy” Spragg on The Chip Race Podcast
The Chip Race podcast was back with the first episode of their 11th season last night.
They had quite a heavy line-up. Recent WSOP Player of the Year winner Robert Campbell appeared on the show, as well as Kat Arnsby and Chad McVean.
However, we’re going to focus on what their other guest, poker vlogger and Triton poker announcer Marle Cordeiro had to say.
Partway through the podcast she was asked jokingly if she’s given up on finding a poker pro boyfriend, as her famous viral video stated, now that she’s dating Benjamin Spragg. She too answered in jest in return.
“Spraggy can hardly call himself a poker player. He’s recreational at best.”
However, immediately after she gave a real answer.
“No, it’s really been great to find someone with my perspective on the industry. And obviously, he’s the biggest troll.”
It’s kind of big news hearing about that. Mainly because despite being together, Marle Cordeiro hasn’t shared anything about them on her social media yet. Therefore it’s probably news to many poker fans out there that Marle and Spraggy are actually dating.
However, Spragg tweeted this yesterday, the same day The Chip Race podcast with Marle Cordeiro went live.

Who Is Spraggy?
Benjamin “Spraggy” Spragg is a British professional poker player. He’s a Team PokerStars pro. He also has a popular Twitch channel with around 70,000 followers.
He mainly plays online MTT’s on Stars under the screen name “Spraggy”. He’s cashed for $167,306 in online tournaments in his career, according to pokerlabs.com.
As for live poker, his Hendon page shows $85,588 in live tournament earnings. His biggest score is from August 2013, when he came in 6th place in the €1,000 UKIPT Main Even in Galway, Ireland for €30,210.
Outside poker, he has a degree in journalism, film and media.
However, chances are, from now on some people will only know him as Marle Cordeiro’s boyfriend.
The former model actually trails her new partner in followers on Twitter – she has 9,700 while Spraggy has 13,200. On the other hand, unsurprisingly, Marle Cordeiro has more followers on Instagram (18.6K) than Spragg (13.2K).
Spraggy doesn’t have a YouTube channel. However, Cordeiro’s 28,000 YouTube subscribers are dwarfed by Spragg’s 70,000 followers on Twitch.
