Charles Yu got absolutely crushed in the latest High Stakes Poker episode after losing two seven-figure pots in a row!

Line-up of High Stakes Poker Season 11 Episode 6:

Same line-up as in High Stakes Poker Season 11 Episode 5 which goes as follows:

More than $8,000,000 on the table!

They are playing 6-max No-Limit Hold’em with the highest stakes in High Stakes Poker history with blinds of $1,000/$2,000/$4,000.

The stacks are very deep with more than $8,000,000 on the table!

Rick Salomon Takes Down A Massive $1,109,000 Pot

There is a straddle to $4,000. Robl raises to $15,000 from early position with A♠J♥, Salomon calls from the big blind with 10♠10♦ and Charles defends his straddle with 7♣4♣. Pot Size: $48,000

3.way to an action flop of 3♣10♣5♥ giving Rick Salomon Top Set, while Charles flops a combo draw.

It checks to Andrew Robl, who makes a $30,000 continuation bet. Rick then check-raises to $125,000,  Charles just calls and Robl gets out of the way.

The 8â™  on the turn is a blank and Salomon fires a large $270,000 second barrel. Yu counts down his $511K stack and then decides to make the call. Pot Size: $868,000

Huge river coming, which is the A♥. Salomon announces All-In and Charles Yu has to fold his hand, while Rick Salomon wins a massive $1,109,000 Pot.

And Charles Yu loses another seven-figure pot…

Once again the $4,000 straddle is on. JRB raises UTG to $11,000 with Q♥6♥, Robl picks up A♥K♣ right behind him and makes it $40,000 to go.

When the action comes back to a seemingly steeming Charles, he 4-bets to $200,000 with Aâ™ 7â™ . Bellande folds and Robl quickly shoves All-In.

There is already $698,000 in the pot and Yu only has $284K behind, so he realizes that he is pot-committed and has to call it off.

Andrew is a 67% favourite and they agree to Run It Twice:

  • First Board: Runs out K♦5♥8♦10♥J♠ securing Robl half of the pot.
  • Second Board: 4â™ 6â™ 9♣8♥K♥ again is of no help for Charles and Andrew Robl scoops a huge $982,00 Pot.
