All eyes in the online poker community are on the eagerly-awaited heads-up match of high stakes crushers Wiktor “limitless” Malinowski and Stefan “Stefan11222” Burakov.

The first week ended with a big surprise and in a debacle for the big favourite Limitless as he lost $557,070 to Stefan.

“If you prefer higher stakes than now – I’m in.”

The huge loss must have triggered Malinowski as he straight away offered to play higher:

“I offer to add extra 20k hands to our challenge. If you prefer higher stakes than now – I’m in.”

Burakov happily and understandably declined as he has been crushing Limitless so far at the NL$50/$100 level, so there is no need for him to change anything at the moment.

Limitless comes back stronger

After being owned throughout the entire first week of the challenge, Limitless appeared to have recovered quickly.

In Tuesday’s session he played very strong poker and gave Stefan a good fight.

The session ended more or less even and was not so long as Limitless had made the Final Table of the biggest prized online tournament, the $2,000,000 GTD Super MILLION$ at GGNetwork.

It was a very tough final table including online legends Niklas “Lena900” Astedt, Mikita “fish2013” Badaziakouski, Sam Greenwood, David “MissOracle” Yan and Brazilian superstar Yuri “theNERDguy” Dzivielevski.

After they played the last hand, Wiktor headed straight over to GG to play the Final Table and not only that, he even made it to heads-up play!

Limitless dominated the final table and even started heads-up play with a 2 to 1 chip advantage, but it was not meant to be first his opponent, an Austrian player with nickname “Ferrariman”, doubled up and then Wiktor got coolered.

In the final hand Limitless shoved with 7c7h and ran into the Pocket Queens of “Ferrariman”.

No help from the board and Limitless had to settle for second place, which still paid a staggering $349,222. Watch the entire final table below!
